TE Imbalance Notice -- UPDATE

Notice Text:

As a reminder, Texas Eastern (TE) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances. TE requires all shippers and point operators in Market Area Zone M1-24 and M2-24 to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position unless otherwise coordinated with your operations account representative. All receipt point operators in Market Area Zone M1-24 and M2-24 are required to keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position unless otherwise coordinated with your operations account representative.

TE requires all Power Plant Operators in the Market Area Zones M1-24 and M2-24 to provide information mandated by FERC Order No. 698. Information required includes the hourly consumption profile of directly connected power generation facilities.

Additionally, the Operational Flow Order issued October 3, 2021, remains in effect until further notice.

Furthermore, TE requests that customers/point operators in Market Area Zones M1-24 and M2-24 be aware of the impact non-ratable hourly takes from the system may have in causing delivery pressures reaching lower than desired levels.

If customers/point operators do not manage hourly takes from the system, it will lead to delivery pressures being lower than desired for this area. As a result, TE may be required to impose further restrictions or courses of action in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system, including but not limited to, implementation of flow control at specific delivery meter locations.

TE may be required to issue hourly OFO's to impose further restrictions in order to maintain the operational integrity of the system.

This notice will remain in effect until further notice.

All imbalance payback will not be allowed unless coordinated through your account representative.

Please call your Operations Account Representative should you have any questions.
